Seven national laboratory projects have been chosen for funding.
The Department of Energy has announced that seven national laboratory projects have been chosen to receive $18.4 million through the Technology Commercialization Fund. The projects chosen will develop ways to effectively provide clean energy technologies for the complex and specific needs of manufacturing and commercial facilities. The commercial and industrial sector’s energy needs create more than a quarter of all of America’s greenhouse gas emissions.
“Accelerating how quickly we get novel technologies to the marketplace will allow us to deploy the clean energy sources needed to combat climate change, lower energy costs, and keep us on course to reaching President Biden’s decarbonization goals,” said Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For wisdom for Secretary Granholm as she pursues the president’s energy goals.
- For U.S. energy officials to be discerning regarding the reduction of emissions as it related to business and industry.
